The first General Gazette for 2015 will be published Wednesday 7 January.

The Department of the Chief Minister's Christmas Closure is Thursday25December to Friday 2 January (inclusive). Urgent publication of a Gazette notice required during this period can be arranged (by following the usual procedures).

The Gazette is published by the Office of the Parliamentary Counsel.

The Gazette will be published every Wednesday, with the closing date for notices being the previous Wednesday at 4.00 pm.

Notices not received by the closing time will be held over until the next issue.

Notices will not be published unless a Gazette notice request form together with a copy of the signed notice and a clean copy of the notice in Word or PDF is emailed to

Waste Management and Pollution Control Act

Termination of Appointment and

Appointment of Authorised Officers

The Northern Territory Environment Protection Authority:

(a) under section70(1)(a) of the Waste Management and Pollution Control Act, and with reference to section 44(1) of the Interpretation Act, terminates the appointment of Chantelle Lee Sage as an authorised officer; and

(b) under section 70(1)(a) of the Waste Management and Pollution Control Act, appoints each person named in the Schedule to be an authorised officer for the purposes of the Act.

Provisional Declaration of Heritage Places

All that area of land and sea near East Arm in the Northern Territory of Australia containing an area of 1.53hectares more or less being that part of Wickham Locality designated Northern Territory Portion 7321(A) and contained within a circle of radius 70metres centred at the intersection of parallel of South Latitude 12degrees 30minutes 37seconds and meridian of East Longitude 130degrees 53minutes 54seconds, datum forcoordinates being GDA94.

Catalina 5 Wreck Site

All that area of land and sea near East Arm in the Northern Territory of Australia containing an area of 1.53hectares more or less being that part of Wickham Locality designated Northern Territory Portion 7322(A) and contained within a circle of radius 70metres centred at the intersection of parallel of South Latitude 12degrees 30minutes 38seconds and meridian of East Longitude 130degrees 54minutes 10seconds, datum for coordinates being GDA94.

Variation of Fire Control Regions

(b) vary the boundaries of the Savanna Fire Control Region to those described in Schedule 2.

Commencing at the intersection of the High Water Mark of Limmen Bight and the centreline of the Roper River; then generally westerly by the said centreline to the southerly prolongation of the eastern boundary of NT Portion 745; then northerly and westerly by the said prolongation and boundary and the eastern and a northern boundary of the NT Portion 5109 to an eastern boundary of NT Portion 5108; then northerly to the north eastern corner of NT Portion 5108; then westerly along Northern boundary to north western corner of said portion; then southerly to a south eastern corner of NT Portion 1646; then westerly by a southern boundary of NT Portion 1646 to the south eastern corner of NT Portion 4774; then westerly, northerly and again westerly by a southern, a western and a southern boundary of the said portion to the most southern south eastern corner of NT Portion 220; then westerly by the southern boundary of the said Portion and its prolongation westerly to the centreline of the LittleMary River, being a point on the boundary of Kakadu National Park; then generally northerly by western boundaries of the said Park to the southern bank of Wildman River; then northerly to the centreline of said River; then generally north-westerly by the said centreline to the High Water Mark of Finke Bay; then generally north-easterly, generally north-westerly, generally south-easterly and generally south-westerly by the said High Water Mark and the High Water Marks of Van Diemen Gulf, Arafura Sea, Gulf of Carpentaria and Limmen Bight to the point of commencement, including therein the Tiwi Islands and all islands adjacent to the coastline described above.

All that area in the Barkly and Katherine Regions of the Northern Territory of Australia containing an area of 294,515 square kilometres more or less and bounded by lines described as follows:

Commencing at the most southern south-eastern corner of NT Portion 674; then westerly and northerly by a northern and an eastern boundary of NT Portion 2006 to its most northern north-eastern corner; then westerly and northerly by a southern and a western boundary of NT Portion 668 to the north-eastern corner of NT Portion 1164; then westerly by the northern boundary of the said Portion to the most southernsouthwestern corner of NT Portion 4319; then northerly and westerly by part of an eastern and part of a northern boundary of NT Portion 677 to the most easternsouth-eastern corner of NT Portion 5706; then westerly, southerly, again westerly and northerly by a southern, an eastern, a southern and a western boundary of the said portion and its prolongation northerly to the most northern north-eastern corner of NT Portion 702; then generally north-westerly, south-westerly, westerly and southerly by south-western, a south-eastern, a southern and an eastern boundary of NT Portion 851 to the most northern north-eastern corner of NT Portion 2845; thence westerly and southerly by a northern and a western boundary of the said Portion to the most eastern south-eastern corner of NT Portion 2654; then westerly and southerly by a southern and an eastern boundary of the said Portion to its most southern south-eastern corner; then westerly, southerly, again westerly, northerly, again westerly, again northerly, again westerly, again southerly and again westerly by part of a northern, a western, a northern, an eastern, a northern, an eastern, a northern, a western and a northern boundary of NT Portion 1740 to the north-eastern corner of NTPortion 3972; then westerly by the northern boundary of the said Portion to itsnorthwestern corner, being a point on the Northern Territory/West Australia Border; then northerly by the said Border to the High Water Mark of the Joseph Bonaparte Gulf; then generally easterly by the said High Water Mark to the centre of the mouth of the Fitzmaurice River; then generally easterly by the centreline of the said River to the north-westerly prolongation of the south- western boundary of NTPortion3685; then south easterly, easterly, northerly, again easterly and again northerly by the said prolongation and south-western boundary and a southern, an eastern, a southern and an eastern boundary of the said Portion to its north-eastern corner; then easterly by northern boundaries of NT Portions 5120, 3982, 4175 and part of a northern boundary of NT Portion 3981 to the centreline of the Katherine River; then generally north-westerly and generally northerly by the centrelines of the Katherine River and Daly River to the westerly prolongation of the most northern boundary of NT Portion 1166; then easterly by the said prolongation and boundary to the most northern north-eastern corner of the said portion; then northerly and easterly by part of a western and part of a northern boundary of NT Portion 1347 to the southwestern corner of NT Portion 1400;
