A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in loving memory and honor of Jesse "Reg" Reginald Dudley.

WHEREAS, Jesse "Reg" Dudley was born on October 9, 1941, to the late Jesse Forest and Florence Mary Skelton Dudley, and departed this earthly life on March 17, 2006, at the age of 64 years. Mr. Dudley had owned and managed the Oscarware Factory in Bonnieville since moving to Hart County in 1985; and

WHEREAS, Reg Dudley served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps, and was a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels; he attended the Mount Tabor Methodist Church in Centerfield; and, an avid fisherman, he loved communing with nature, and enjoying the peace of the water and the thrill of a good catch. Now, he will forever be one with nature, as his ashes are spread over KenLake in his beloved Kentucky; and

WHEREAS, Reg Dudley was preceded in death by an infant son, Keith Robert Dudley; a sister, Ruth Bess, and three brothers, Bob, Earl, and Paul Dudley. He leaves behind his loving wife, Debra Runyan Dudley; two sons, Jeff Dudley, of Nicholasville, and Kevin Dudley, of Radcliff; three daughters, Tammy Clark of Dexter, Missouri, Jill Medina, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Kelly Dudley, of Lexington; a brother, John Dudley, of Missouri; and six loving grandchildren, all of whom shall miss his presence;

NOW, THEREFORE,

Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Section 1. The Senate expresses its deep sense of sorrow upon the passing of Jesse "Reg" Reginald Dudley, and extends to his family and friends its sincere condolences.

Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in loving memory and honor of Jesse "Reg" Reginald Dudley.
