JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

TITLE: Director Sexual Assault Services

HOURS: Full-time

PROGRAM: A New Day

SALARY: $70,000- $75,000

DUTIES: Under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Violence Intervention and Prevention Services, the Director of SA Programs is responsible for providing leadership for A New Day and serving as the Sexual Assault Services Subject Matter Expert(SME) across all Violence Intervention and Prevention programs . Specific duties include the following:

·  Overall programmatic management, planning and evaluation of all components for A New Day.

·  Plan, direct, coordinate and monitor the goals, objectives, and activities for the aforementioned program and services.

·  Develop fiscal goals and manage numerous programmatic budgets to ensure adherence to budgets and revenue projections.

·  Evaluate operations and effectiveness of service delivery, including fiscal management.

·  Ensure accurate and timely reporting as required.

·  Ensure high quality service delivery for VIP services and ongoing treatment.

·  Ensure compliance with Health Imperatives’ and Program Policies and Procedures.

·  Hiring, supervision and evaluation of personnel.

·  Identify emerging issues, service models, intervention and treatment trends and oversee implementation of new developments in the field of Sexual Assault.

·  Provide leadership and establish and build collaborative community relationships internally and externally.

·  Oversee the bi-annual 40H sexual assault training and include all required components as mandated by the state.

·  Any other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Clear understanding and experience working with survivors of sexual assault and the dynamics of oppression. Sophisticated theoretical understanding of the cultural and social causes of sexual violence; deep understanding of intersectional nature of cultural, ethnic, racial, religious, sexual and gender diversity and the ability to lead programming tailored to the needs of individual groups (e.g., LGBTIQ, LEP clients, immigrants etc.) Ability to maintain flexible schedule in accordance with program needs; i.e. some evenings and/or weekend emergency responses may be required. Knowledgeable in crisis intervention and conflict resolution practices. A Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years experience in program management or equivalent experience; minimum of 5 years experience working with victims of sexual assault. Strong organizational skills; flexibility and able to work successfully in a fast-paced ,results-oriented environment; strong interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated successful community collaborative outcomes; High level of cultural competency and experience working with diverse populations; Demonstrated work in a collaborative, team environment.

Must have a valid driver’s license, registration and safe driving record.
