I, PHILLIP JOHN HOGLIN, acting in accordance with the delegation of powers to me under section A4 of the Defence Enterprise Agreement 2017-2020 (the Enterprise Agreement) by the Secretary to the Department of Defence, hereby determine the conditions of employment for employees as set out below.2

I determine under section H6 of the Enterprise Agreement the following amendments to Schedule D (operational support duty) of Defence Enterprise Agreement 2017-2020, Determination No. 2 of 2017.i. / Subsection 17.8.7.1 (Rate of allowance), table

1. / This section applies to an employee performing duty in support of Operation MANITOU who meets both the following conditions.a. / The employee performed duty in the specified area in table item 5 of section 2 of this Determination at any time between 14November 2016 and the commencement of this Determination.
b. / The employee did not receive operational support allowance for duty performed in the area specified immediately prior to the commencement of this Determination.
2. / The employee is eligible for payment of operational support allowance at the rate specified in the following table for each day of duty they met the conditions set out in subsection 1.

1. / This section applies to an employeeperforming duty in support of Operation AUGURY who was performing duty in the specified area under table item 3 of section 1 of this Determination between 28 April 2016 and the commencement of this Determination.2. / An employee is eligible for payment of operational support allowance for each day of duty performed in the specified area of Afghanistan between 28 April 2016 and the commencement of this Determination that is the difference between the following amounts.
a. / The relevant rate in the following table.
b. / Less the amount of operational support allowance that the member received for the same period of duty in the area specified immediately prior to the commencement of this Determination.
