Woodbrooke Meeting
March 15, 2017
Present: Nancy Koziatek, Mark Brucki, Don Jozwiak, Michelle Bushey, Cheryl McDonald, Kevin Yee, Stephanie Surowicz, Sue Shrosbree
Building & Grounds:
Floor has to be 50 degrees to epoxy – weather is holding us up.
Stephanie is working with designer. She’s picked out products that we all like.
We won’t put a fan in the vestibule. Ceilings in the locker rooms are too low to have fans.
We are putting 2 fans in the pavilion. We are also adding electrical outlets if we want to afford it. Kevin has contractor coming out tomorrow for concrete/electrical quote.
Kevin has a quote of $53K for the bathrooms and many other things including a water refill station. We have taken some items out of the project so the estimated cost may be $45K. However, there are a few unknowns including running electrical to the pavilion.
Aquatic Source: Michelle noted that they present a lot for us to buy and then try to scare us into using them and buying things.
Tennis: Don Jozwiak
We are hosting the Silver Cup, Friday August 4 at Woodbrooke. Will be early in the day.
Coaches will be Marimar and Ronnie with a college kid helper.
Talking to Cranbrooke about adding them to our rotation for tennis, Northwest Suburban Tennis League.
Changing spirit wear to Big Frog in Novi. Professional, on time, polite, easy to work with. Prices are competitive.
Gold Cup at Country Day at year end.
Swim: Michelle & Cheryl
Almost have coordinator positions filled.
We are hosting B finals. Everyone will have to work two shifts. Cheryl is trying to make each shift 2 hours. They might be able to reduce volunteer hours during the season.
April 19 is the swim meeting at the main library.
Coaches are set. Team suit is selected.
The Glen asked to move a meet from Monday July 10 to Tuesday July 11.

Posting manager job on several sites, Craigslist, Monster…not getting any responses. Mark has followed up on suggestions. We are all to post the job description to our Facebook pages and ask around.

6 more private sales in progress.
19 bonds on our sell list. One of those says they have a buyer.
I want something sent to people on the sell list about paying their dues by April 1. I did send an email to the top 2.
Sue will notify bonds in process that dues need to be paid by April 1 or there will be a late fee.
