In September, bring your reading log to school so that you can be recognized for your efforts.
1-10 hours reading = certificate
11-15 hours reading = certificate + one prize
15 + hours reading = certificate + two prizes

Spaulding Memorial and the Townsend Public Library in conjunction with the Massachusetts Library Association are pleased to join together to present this list of suggested summer reading titles for students entering third grade.
These suggested titles and authors are meant to be used as a guide for parents. Students may read any book of their choice. Students may record their reading times using a paper book log or on-line at
