Colleges not participating with Naviance edoc
If your college is not a participating member of Naviance, you must do the following:
STEP 1:
Complete Blanket Transcript Request Form – available on our website or in the guidance office. This must be returned to Mrs. Fazzio.
STEP 2
Fill out a TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FORM (available in the Guidance Office from Mrs. Fazzio).
You MUST fill out a TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FORM for EVERY college/university you are applying to that does NOT participate in Naviance edocs.
After completing the form:
· Address a 9x12 envelope to the college/university to which you are applying.
DO NOT WRITE YOUR RETURN ADDRESS ON THE ENVELOPE.
· Place three stamps on the envelope.
· Attach your transcript request to your envelope and place it in Mrs. Fazzio’s bin that is located on her desk in the Guidance Office.

COLLEGE SECONDARY SCHOOL REPORT
The college I am applying to has a Secondary School Report to be completed by my counselor. What should I do with the form?
This form must be sent from our Guidance Office. You will need to:
· Fill in all of the appropriate information that is asked of you.
· Include this form with your transcript request form and your envelope.
LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION
If your college is not participating in Naviance edocs, you must:
1. Ask your teachers or other persons if they would be willing to write a letter on your behalf.
If they agree:
· Provide them with one business sized envelope addressed to the college/university to which you are applying.
DO NOT WRITE YOUR RETURN ADDRESS ON THE ENVELOPE.
· Place one stamp on the envelope.
2. Request that the recommendation letters be sent directly to your college/university.
COMPLETING & SENDING THE APPLICATION
How do I send my application?
All applications should be completed online and sent ELECTRONICALLY whenever possible. Most colleges/universities have a link to their application on their website. Remember to check if the colleges have SECONDARY SCHOOL REPORTS. If you complete a paper copy of the application, you can send it directly to the college.
Please note that many colleges/universities will accept the COMMON APPLICATION.
