Under Christ’s Care, Abiding Savior’s OST ministry, has an opening for a committed, organized, and experienced individual to fill the position of Site Coordinator. The Site Coordinator works closely with the Director to manage the After School, Summer Care and Vacation Care ministries to children in Kdg. – 5th grade. Hours for this position are 12:00-6:00 Monday-Friday with additional hours during Vacation Care and Summer Care. Job Description:

·  Plan and implement center activities to support ministry objectives, enrichment, and individual choice time

·  Staff management and supervision

·  Parent communication

·  Oversee management of children ages 5-12 under the guidance of the Director

·  Work closely with the Director to facilitate community outreach through student involvement, congregational involvement, family involvement, and school connections

·  Assist with maintaining compliance with licensing requirements

·  Assist with general record keeping

Requirements:

In order to be considered for this position you must meet one of the following requirements:

·  BA in the field of education or human development

·  Have a valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, or a similar credential with emphasis in the care of school age children, AND one year of verifiable experience caring for and supervising four or more school aged children

·  Have 2 years of college coursework in the field of education with emphasis in the areas of preparing and implementing lesson plans, human growth and development, behavior management, interpersonal communication, art education, music education, physical education, and recreation and one year of verifiable experience caring for and supervising four or more school aged children

·  Have 4 years verifiable experience in the care and supervision of four or more school aged children in a child care setting, which children were not related to the individual providing care
