POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position Title:Recreational Tennis Organizer
Reports to:Recreational Program Manager
Status:Full-time
Location:Maui, Hawaii

The Pacific Northwest Section of the USTennis Association (USTA PNW) is a 501(c)3 not-for profit organization looking for a Recreational Tennis Organizer looking serve the tennis community.
The Recreational Tennis Organizer will serve as a key member of the USTA PNW’s Recreational Department and will also work closely with all tennis facilities and our regional partners (e.g.city and regional Parks and Recreation programs), cultivating a strong relationship between the USTA PNW and our providers.
After-School Programming
- Facilitate successful, high quality programs in assigned area
- Cultivate relationships and partner with schools
- Recruit, train, schedule and handle all administration related to site directors and instructors
- Fulfillment – acquire, distribute and track equipment to sites
- Assist with program promotion
- Assist with registration system
- Oversee quality control and evaluate staff and programs
- Complete all school administration requirements
- Link other USTA/PNW and USTA programs and products whenever possible
- Elevate all contracts and partnerships agreements to appropriate department
Recreational Programming
- Facilitate successful, high quality recreational programs in assigned area as becomes available through partnerships
- Cultivate relationships and partner with parks
- Recruit, train, schedule and handle all administration related to site directors and instructors
- Fulfillment – acquire, distribute and track equipment to sites (shuffle equipment, when necessary)
- Assist with program promotion
- Assist with registration system
- Oversee quality control
- Complete Parks and Recreation department requirements as needed for USTA/PNW Recreational program implementation
- Elevate all contracts and partnerships agreements to appropriate department
Travel Demands:
Travel across assigned area (Maui and Kauai) to promote and develop programs; attend various events, meetings, and trainings, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to facilitate trainings and motivate staff
- Knowledge of assigned area, desired not required
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to work independently
- Periodic evening and weekend work
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass background check
- Must live in assigned geographic area
