On January 29, 2014, the Dade County Bar Association and Dade Legal Aid invite you to a RetirementLuncheon honoring Sharon L. Langer's 28 Years of Service to the Dade County Bar Association and Dade LegalAid at the Downtown Hyatt in Miami, Florida. The reception begins at 11:30 am with a luncheon at noon where we will celebrate and recognizeSharon's many years of dedication and service to the Bench and Bar and her tireless work to better our community.
Dade Legal Aid, a non-profit law firm in practice for over 60 years, provides free legal services to qualifying low-income residents of Miami-Dade. Under Sharon's leadership, 21 devoted staff attorneys specialize in children's advocacy, consumer matters, domestic violence, family law, foreclosure, guardianship, housing and teen advocacy, benefitting victims of violence and fraud, elderly and other disadvantaged persons within our community.
In order for Dade Legal Aid to continue assisting those in dire need with nowhere else to turn for help, we ask for your supportby attending and sponsoring the luncheon. Individual tickets cost $50.00 forDade County Bar Associationmembers and guests and a reduced rate of $40.00 for government services employees. You may purchase tickets to the luncheon at: opportunitiesare also available and will bring visibility to your firm or business while benefitting the important mission of Dade Legal Aid.
We expect over 400 lawyers, judges and friends to come together on January 29th to celebrate Sharon L. Langer’s career and to wish her all the best in her retirement.
