CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. The organisers/committee of Pinjarra Equestrian Association (PEA) reserve the right to cancel, alter or combine any events they seem necessary on the day.

2. All riders must wear a current approved safety helmet and riding boots at all times when mounted on their horse/pony.

3. Hacking Jackets will be optional & short sleeves are permitted. Pony Club Uniform allowed. Plaiting optional.

4. All Leading Rein handlers must wear closed in footwear & ponies must be led by a single lead attached at the back of a cavesson nose band. No halters or leads with chains attached are to be used.

5. Rider’s age will be as at the day of the event, proof of age may be requested.

6. Rider’s over 18 years are permitted to ride ponies.

7. The PEA reserves the right to interpret all rules & make a decision where any dispute arises.

8. The PEA and its committee, judges and officials DO NOT accept liability for any accident, loss, damage, illness or injury to horses, owners, riders, spectators or any other person or property whatsoever. Entry to the PEA grounds is at your own risk.

9. If you are not a direct member of PEA or EWA the $10 competition membership form is to be filled out and submitted with entry.

10. No Judge is to be approached at anytime by a competitor or spectator without speaking to a PEA committee member first.

11. Strictly NO Double Bridles in any ring.

12. A Horse or Pony that holds a Current Official Card for Show Horse are not eligible to compete. However, riders who hold a current membership with EWA or SHC are permitted to compete on a horse that does not hold an Official Card.

13. ALL RIDERS WILL BE EXPECTED TO DO A HELPER JOB WHEN ENTERING THE MORNING OF THE SHOW. PLEASE BE PREPARED FOR THIS!
