J.D - SCRUBS
J.D. is the narrator and main character of the series. He provides voice-over to the series which fills the roles of his internal thoughts and an overall narration in the show. Despite his numerous flaws, quirks and personal insecurities, J.D. is shown throughout the series to be a very competent doctor. While he doesn't possess as much technical knowledge about medicine as Elliot, he is described by Carla and Dr. Cox as having "very good instincts" and a lot of determination and enthusiasm for his job. At the end of most episodes, J.D. summarizes the story's theme in a sequence of shots
that show how it has affected each of the characters.
ELLIOT - SCRUBS
At Sacred Heart Hospital, Elliot began as an intern and later became a resident. As an intern and resident Elliot was terrified to make mistakes during rounds or with a patient because she didn't want to be humiliated or yelled at by Dr. Kelso. Dr. Cox was just as rude to Elliot as he was to J.D. when they first came to Sacred Heart, but is later impressed by her knowledge and ability Although he mocks her for simple mistakes and her blond hair, Dr. Cox will genuinely help if she needs it. The Janitor calls Elliot "Blonde Doctor” while Doctor Cox refers to her as Barbie or Doctor Barbie.
GREGORY HOUSE – HOUSE
Gregory House is a fictional character and protagonist of the American medical drama House. The character is a maverick medical genius who heads a team of diagnosticians at the fictional Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital. House's character has often been described as a "cynic" and is also often portrayed as lacking sympathy for his patients, a practice that allots him the time to solve pathological enigmas. House's character frequently shows his cunning and biting wit, enjoys picking people apart, and often mocks their weaknesses.
DOUG ROSS - ER
Doug is an arrogant womanizer, who has dated and left many women throughout the course of the show. Doug has an on-again, off-again relationship with Carol Hathaway, the head nurse of the ER at County. He pursued her constantly when she was trying to move on with her life after their horrible break-up.
