Based in London Borough of Croydon – 21 hours per week, flexible

Salary: £12672.56 p.a. including London weighting.

To help organise and support our mentoring and befriending service and help the service to become accredited. The role will involve dealing with initial referrals, conducting initial assessments, on-going client contacts and queries.You will be reporting to the Mentoring and Befriending Team Leader. You will be responsible for organising and line managing admin and support staff. You will also have the day to day responsibility for managing the service and assist in its development.

This job entails supporting people with mental health issues in their recovery and independence. It will includebeing responsible for the recruitment, training and matching volunteers to carry out the role of mentoring and befriending people. The role will require a very motivated, enthusiastic and highly organised person, with a commitment to social inclusion and recovery for clients
