Background Knowledge / This week we are going to read and talk about what we might discover in a new neighborhood. A neighborhood is a place where people live. There are two different kinds of neighborhoods – rural and urban. Rural is in the country and urban is in the city.

What kind of neighborhood has lots of open space but not many people?
Which one has lots of people and buildings but not very much open space?
