Milo ( My Milo ) is a 14h 15year old Connemara Gelding. We have had the pleasure of owning this genuine boy for 5 years now and he has been a complete star in everything we have done or asked of him. He is absolutely brilliant to do in all ways, easy to catch, load, shoe and clip. Happy to live in or out, currently comes in for a few hours during the day.
He is happy to hack out alone, regularly by my 14 year old daughter or in company and is 100% in ALL traffic, nothing bothers him, from farm equipment, cyclists, aeroplanes, dogs or any traffic.
Milo is the most genuine second pony and has done all pony club, school and riding club activities including a dabble at Horse Ball !!( effectively Netball on horses!!! ) He has taken my daughter through to successfully competing in all disciplines from 60cm up to and including 80cm, He has the ability to train and jump higher however is more suited to this range of competing. He regularly competes in all pony club and NSEA events at Bicton, Pontispool and KSEC. He absolutely adores his XC, never strong or silly and will always do his best to help his rider out, he has a 100% clear XC record with us.
Milo has taken part in several residential Pony Club camps from mini to seniors and takes the change of scenery all in his stride. He is also happy, well willing, to take part in fancy dress and other pony humiliating activities!!!!
He is a mothers dream at competitions, happy to travel and stand all day at the lorry with his hay net, and has always done what is asked of him from Show Jumping, JWS, Arena Eventing, ODE, Hunter Trials and Dressage. He has done the lot.
Milo is a true character and brings a sense of fun, cheekiness and love. He does loves his food and can sometimes be determined to get to a tasty patch of grass, so needs firm but gentle handling, that said has always been handled by my daughter from the age of 9yrs.
He is absolutely adored by his owner and this is truly heartbreaking for all involved, so please no time wasters. He is only for loan to a 5* homedue to being massively outgrown ( with a potential view to buy, £2,500 incl. tack, price reflection of age not ability. ) He has now done his job and given her the confidence and ability to carry on her journey up the ladder that she and Milo started together, he is fit and ready to go to take another lucky rider on a similar journey.
