Role summary

You will take responsibility for the day to day administration of the Society’s Committees, co-ordinating and supporting their meetings, proactively following up on action points and projects and communicating activities to stakeholders via the website, social network and other media as appropriate. Current projects include the development and implementation of training in rural settings (ISUOG Outreach) and the expansion of ISUOG’s online learning program. You will also have the opportunity to support the development of member services and our annual events program.

Purpose of the role:

  1. To act as a first point of contact with the Society
  1. To co-ordinate and develop the activities and projects of the Society’s (Board and) committees
  1. To manage the communication with and of the committees
  1. To support the Society’s Congress, events and membership development program

Responsible for

  • Co-ordinating the activities and projects of ISUOG’s Committees (and Board):

Acting as a first point of contact for ISUOG’s Board, committees and sub committees

Monitoring and progressing action points and projects including international Outreach, clinical standards, the website and online learning

Supporting the Executive Director (research and reports on new projects, developing projects in line with the overall strategic plan)

Managing the annual Board and committee meetings schedule

Organising, supporting and minuting meetings and conference calls

Maintaining Board and committee member databases and keeping accurate rotation records

Proactively developing and updating the Society’s website in line with new projects

  • Communication and administration

Acting as a first point of contact with the Society and responding to enquiries

Managing ISUOG’s social media including content, moderation and reporting on usage

Update the Society website as needed including uploading photographs, news and educational content

Support the membership development, promotion and marketing plan as required

Provide administrative support to the Executive Director for external and internal meetings and committee correspondence

Developing relationships with other organisations and external stakeholders

Processing payments and liaising with suppliers as necessary

  • Supporting the Society’s Event and Member services

Supporting the World Congress organisation, particularly program and abstract management

Supporting the ISUOG Courses programincluding enquiries and correspondence as needed

Onsite support of the World Congress and other events

Supporting the development of member services

  • Carrying out other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the Society
