§ Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream (quadruple recipe for 60 kids?)
o 1 pint thin cream
o ½ tsp vanilla extract

o large mixing bowl
o 60 small Styrofoam coffee cups
o spoon or spatula
§ Raisin Gas collectors
o Large canister of raisins (oatmeal box size)
o 60 large clear plastic cups
o Three 2-liter bottles of Sprite
§ Molecular models
o small box toothpicks
o two small bags colored marshmallows
§ Lemon soda
o large clear plastic cups (cups can be used with raisin gas collector activity, and then saved for the ice cream demo at end of session.)
o 32-oz bottle of lemon juice
o 2 cups granulated sugar
o 1 large box baking soda
o 2-gallon water jug or two plastic milk jugs
§ Plastic milk
o 1 gallon skim milk
o microwave oven
o strainer/colander
o large mixing bowl
o large bottle white vinegar
§ Color Splash
o 10 large clear plastic cups
o Two 4-packs of food coloring droppers
o Three plastic gallon jugs to hold water

o 30 baby food jars with lids (rotate them so that half can be cleaned while activity continues with next group)
