The loss of a loved one is a devastating human experience. It is frequently traumatic and can seriously impact judgment. A recognition and meaningful celebration of that life may help to meet your individual needs. Our directors will assist you in arranging an appropriate service according to your needs and desires.

It is also important to be realistic with respect to funeral expenditures. We do not want a family to spend more than they are able, nor to get less than they would like. It is important that arrangements be in keeping with a family’s wishes and budget.

TERMS FOR PAYMENT: To avoid a possibility of misunderstanding or embarrassment, payment for goods and services is expected 48 hours prior to the services rendered, unless other arrangements have been made prior to need. For your convenience, we accept cash, check, credit card (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa), and verifiable irrevocable insurance assignment.

Services that are not secured by the above method of payment will be charged 12.000% per month late charge for any balance or unpaid claims owed after 30 days of signed contract.

i.e. Non assignable insurance policies, estate claims, etc.

When assigning an insurance policy(s) to satisfy the cost of the funeral service,

a processing fee of four percent (4%) will be charged to the family.

ITEMIZED SERVICE CHARGES

Basic professional services of funeral director and staff…………………………………..$1,500

This is the basic charge to each family we serve for our professional expertise in assisting them. It includes, but is not limited to, a proportionate share of the taxes, licenses, utilities and business expenses necessary to serve the public in a professional manner. Also included in this charge is the consultation with the family, consultation with the clergy, cemetery, crematory or common carrier, planning the funeral, and placement of obituary notices, reparation and filing of necessary permits, insurance claims processing, death certificates, social security notifications, veteran administration forms, and all other pertinent information and forms.

There will be an additional charge for the direction and supervision of each service requested or required. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, forwarding or receiving remains, as well as our listed packaged funeral or cremation service options.)

Embalming...... $600

Embalming is a chemical process which provides temporary preservation of the body and eliminates certain health hazards. A person licensed by the State of Missouri must complete this procedure. Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Direct Cremation (with container provided by customer)...... $1,200
Direct Cremation (with alternative container provided by PFDS)...... $1,485

If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container.

Alternative containers encase the body and can be made out of materials like fiberboard

or composition materials (with or without an outside covering).

The container we provide is cardboard and sells for $285.
