The MagicMountain Again

Another wonderful conference of ORI was held up on the Methodist Retreat, Mt.Sequoyah. It was held in April, 22-26. When we arrived there were hugs around with old friends meeting again.

The mountain has a special feeling that I never found any where else. Healings take place there on regular occurrence, just like it is just another day at the office. The teachers all try there best to help any one. When we first started going down there to the schools or the conferences. There was some ego, enough to go around. But the more we go the fewer egos are present for all. It is rather amazing that all these people can get together with out exhibiting any ego. I'm sure some pops up now and again, but it is hard to find.

The Dinning hall, where we all go to eat the excellent meals, but that is just the icing on the cake so to speak. Sitting with all the different people and hearing their stories is what is fun. One thing about it is you won’t starve. The food is good and healthy.

The speakers have the right to have a table to sell some of their goods to help pay some of their expenses. My wife and I really love to visit with every one as they wander by, looking at everything. People come by and ask you to help them, clear a house, fix their back, do body scans for them. We use the Lu Lu chart to adjust people’s backs. I don't know how many backs we worked on while we were there. One lady had a shoulder in a sling, another had a bad knee. You just do it even if you don't know just what you are doing. The intent will carry you through.

There is no way to describe the look on peoples faces when a “healing” takes place. When they say,”Man I can feel that energy going in there”. It really makes it worth while. Even though we are teachers we still learn every time we go down to the MagicMountain.

There were some new things that I hadn’t seen before and some things that I needed a refresher course on. One was on Huna, which was new to me, good teacher taught that one. He was from my neck of the woods, so I will hear from him again I’m sure. There were several people from my state, and we made contact with them and will contact them later.

The ORI is a good group of people, the people that belong as members, and the people that work there, the leaders of the group, all top-notch. The teachers they call on to do their teaching are all well trained teachers. Most of their learning didn’t come from books but experiences. I’m sure a lot of them had many an hour reading books also.

All of these things help make this “The Magic Mountain”, but the main thing is the people. Each one comes in to help or receive help in the way of learning something to help some one else. Dowsers and “healers” are the most caring people in the world. I hurt my back while I was there and two ladies did a massage on me for almost an hour. I was almost in slumber land when they finished. The “healers” there didn’t charge a dime for their work, it was given freely. They did it because they wanted to. Where else in the world came you get that much personal attention for just a smile. I even went to Harold's class again and enjoyed it, and Martha Moore’s class, always interesting no matter how many times you have seen it.
I want to tell you about the quotation marks around "healers". Healers are a misnomer, God does the healing, not us, and we just help get it to the right person. Joe Smith
