TRIP TO SPAIN – SPRING BREAK 2015

Students enrolled in LANG 307: Survey of Spanish Literature as well as Spanish majors who have completed LANG 305 or LANG 307 will be offered the opportunity to visit Spain in spring 2015, during the week of Spring Break. Cities visited will be Madrid, Toledo, Seville, Cordoba, and Granada. The culture and literature of Spain will be explored through visits to the Cathedrals of Toledo and Seville, the Mosque of Cordoba, the El Transito Synagogue, the Prado Museum, and the Alhambra, among other sites. The organizer and leader of this trip will be Dr. Cora Lagos of the Modern Languages Department.


Requirements:
- You must be registered for LANG 307 or have taken LANG 305 or LANG 307
- You must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- You must have a passport valid until AT LEAST September 2015

Travel dates: March 7-15, 2015 [corresponding with Spring Break]
Cost: approximately $1,800. Final cost and itinerary to be determined.
Includes: - Roundtrip airfare from Newark or JFK
- Hotel stays for 7 nights
- Day trips to Toledo, Córdoba, Granada, and Seville
- Some tours and admissions to museums and cultural sites
- Travel insurance

- Breakfast and most lunches and dinners

Not Included: some lunches and dinners, some admissions.
