ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
· ALL PGY-1s (EXCLUDING Pathology, Pediatrics, Radiology, Family Medicine and Psychiatry) MUST TAKE CVC Training; You will be contacted by a members of the CAMLS Staff to get you registered for the lecture, practice session and actual testing date.
· ALL PGY-1s must take a MANDATORY “Professionalism Initiative” course that will be held on Friday, JUNE 27th from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at MDA 1097 (located near the WELL). Parking instructions will be forthcoming.
· ALL PGY-1s must take a MANDATORY “Teach the Teacher” course that will be held on Monday, JUNE 30th from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at MDA 1097 (located near the WELL). Parking instructions will be forthcoming.
· For ALL residents/fellows rotating through a USF COM clinic (Morsani or South Tampa Center) you must register for USF Allscripts training. You can register through your Education Coordinator or call Dana Frederick at (813) 396-9587.
· For questions on the GME “Early Bird” and Welcome/Check-in, please call Tara Stauffer at (813) 250-2515. **NOTE: You DO NOT need to attend the entire time, but will need to check-in for approximately one hour to do Fit Testing, HR forms, receive Labcoat, pagers, etc. You can come at any time during the designated hours. Maps and Parking information will be also be distributed for the various sites.
· USF Mandatory Training includes CVC, NRP, PALS, ATLS, ACLS and BLS – if your program is required to complete this training, you will be contacted by a member of the GME Staff or CAMLS Staff to get you registered for the appropriate training.
AFFILIATED HOSPITAL TRAINING
ALL CHILDREN’s HOSPITAL:
· For residents/fellow rotating at All Children’s, training will be held on Tuesday, June 24th starting at 7:00 am in the ACH OP Care Center. Following training and Lunch, Computer Training will begin at 1:00pm in the BAT bldg. You must register for June 24th by calling Dawn Jones or Valarie Collins at (727) 767-4106.
TAMPA GENERAL HOSPITAL:
· For residents/fellows rotating at Tampa General, you must register for the TGH (EPIC) Computer Training ONCE YOU HAVE A VALID FL TRAINING OR FULL FL LICENSE. DO NOT CALL TO SCHEDULE TRAINING UNTIL YOU HAVE YOUR FLORIDA LICENSE!! Once licensed, please call the EPIC training team at (813) 844-3883 TO SET UP TRAINING.
MOFFITT CANCER CENTER:
· For residents and fellows rotating at Moffitt, Moffitt Orientation will be held on Monday, June 30th from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Stabile Research Building on the Moffitt campus. Please contact Cheryl Davidson ( or 813-745-1867) in the Moffitt GME office for more information.
JAMES A HALEY VA:
· For residents/fellows rotating at JAHVA, you must register for computer training. After completion of on-line training, you must come to one of the Open House sessions (dates/times/locations listed below) and ensure you are able to log-into the VA Network.
· *NOTE - You do not need to attend the whole time but MUST come to the VA to log-in from a VA computer.
· Open House sessions will be held as follows in the:
June 25th from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm (JAHVA Computer Training Room, Bldg 42)
June 30th from 11:30 am – 3:00 pm (JAHVA Computer Training Room, Bldg 42)
July 1st from 8:00 am – 10:00 am (Room 7A-719)

BAY PINES VA:

TURLEY/MORTON PLANT: (Family Medicine)
· EMR training for Family Medicine Residents will be provided at Morton Plant Hospital and Turley Family Health Center. Please contact Jamie Harrington at 727-467-2504 if you have any questions. (Note: Family Medicine Residents do not need to participate in EMR training for USF, Tampa General Hospital, or Moffitt Cancer Center.)
