CALL TO ORDER
The chairperson called the meeting to order at 6:31 PM. Those assembled saluted the flag and the chairperson read the open public meeting statement in accordance with the law.

The members reviewed the report, were advised of any changes.

ACTION/DISCUSSION ITEMS
a. Discussion – FYE Audit 11.30.2014 – Bill Schroeder
The audit noted the Authority’s financial position is strong. The Authority is well within its stringent financial policies and guidelines set by the Board and management. Highlights:
· The Authority has not outstanding debt.
· Operating revenues were $4,688,127, a decrease of $255,975 compared to 2013 mainly due to a decrease in connection fees and other fees.
· Non-operating revenues were $13,349, a decrease of $291 compared to 2013 primarily due to a decrease in interest income.
There were no audit recommendations.
b. Resolution #1533 – FYE Audit Group Certification

9. Consulting Engineer’s Report
BTSA Engineer’s Report
May 12, 2015 Meeting
DEVELOPER PROJECTS:
Basking Ridge Animal Hospital
No TWA is required for this project. The project plans were approved in October 2014. We await construction start. (This was never updated from the October 2014 Engineer’s Report)
Bocina Homes/DR Horton/Pond ill @ Bernards/507 S Maple/Old Block 150, Lots 1, 2.01, 3.01, and 5.01/New Block 6101, Lots 1, 4, 5 and 6
HMM is meeting with the Contractor on May 7 to review connection to the existing manhole on South Maple Avenue. Construction of the sewers is scheduled for the week of May 11 and should continue for a couple of weeks.
Marshall Property/Block 5602, Lot 2
HMM reviewed plans related to the sewer connection of this existing home that is being renovated.
AUTHORITY PROJECTS:
Harrison Brook STP Oxidation Ditch Aerators
Oxidation Ditch #1 went online on April 29th. BTSA is currently monitoring operation. Work on the next ditch should continue in the summer.
Crown Court Pump Station
NJDEP contacted HMM May 1 to advise that the permit should be issued by June. No explanation was offered for the delay in issuance of the permit other that “it slipped through the cracks.”
Harrison Brook STP Lagoon valve Chamber Improvements
We await construction start in June based upon delivery of the new valves.
Stonehouse Road Pump Station
The Contractor is currently working on preparation of building demolition work.
North Maple Avenue Gravity Sewer Replacement
The Contractor is currently working with an Asbestos Abatement Professional to coordinate the necessary submittals and documentation prior to construction start.

· This period we TV’d (Appletree Lane, Archgate Road, Byron Drive, Cherry Lane, Concord Lane, Conkling Street, Dryden Road, Fairview Drive East, Fieldview Drive, Flintlock Court, Kensington Road, Kinnan Way, Laurel Court, Nancy Lane, Warwick Lane).
· Jetted - Bradford Lane, Briar Lane, Castle Way, Deerfield Court, Dexter Drive North, Fairbanks Lane, Hill Top Road, Meadowview Road, and Riverside Drive.
· Canopy was installed over rag dumpster.
· Inspected capping for 80 Lurline Drive.
· Inspected manhole lids and risers on roads to be paved list.
· Inspected grease traps and trained Paul Fiermonte on inspections.
· The Grain House installed new grease trap.
· Temporary repair performed on manhole RHPS-03-03.
· Cleaned South Maple wet well.
· Changed carbon at Juniper.
· Checked syphons.
· Jetted Allen Road, Riverwalk and Valley Road syphons.
· Alternate Power replaced batteries, resealed coolant tubes and replaced the antifreeze on plant Cat generator.
· Alternate Power PM’d all station generators.
· Exercised plant and station generators.
· Exercised sluice gates.
· We continue to meet permit parameters without any problems.
SAFETY
· Monthly fire extinguisher, lighting, safety shower, & storm drain checks completed.
· Attended NJUA JIF safety meeting in Toms River.
· Chris Lalicato attended Indoor Air Quality training.
· Chris Lalicato is training for Safety Manager position.
· Lost time accident free for 100 days.
PROJECTS
I&I: Sump pump inspections at 24 Autumn Drive. Alward repaired leaks on Addison Drive.
Flood Prone manholes: No report.
Lagoon Valves: Some pipe fittings delivered.
Monarch Circle: Waiting for LURP permit from DEP.
Roof repairs: Bid opening May 1.
Oxidation Ditches: Oxidation ditch #1 back on line.
Stonehouse Road: No report.
North Maple Avenue Rehab: Discussing asbestos removal technique.
