Entry Form and Contest Rules
We are looking for pictures of the Vermilion area to publish in a hardcover coffeetable book! A local artistic panel will judge the photos mid-November. We hope to have the photo books available for purchase before Christmas! (Stay tuned!)
Some photo ideas to show the beauty of this place we call home include portraits of local characters, flowers, scenic vistas, interesting objects and animals, lovely gardens, heritage buildings, etc… We will be looking for artistic, quality photographs that capture the essence of the Vermilion area.
General Rules
§ The photos can be of any era.
§ Colour, and black and white photos are welcome.
§ Do not write on the back of printed photos as it will show through later.
§ The photos should have been taken in the Vermilion area
(roughly the Vermilion River County.)
Submission Guidelines
§ Pictures must be submitted by the photographer.
§ Pictures must be submitted either as high resolution digital files on a CD or in printed 5x7 photo format. Note: you will not get your CD or photos back, so please retain your own copy.
§ Each person may submit 5 photos maximum, so choose your favorites carefully!
§ Entry forms and photos/CDs can be submitted at the Vermilion Standard office, or to Vermilion Rotary Club, c/o Arnica Rowan
