Spanish-Speaking Country Webquest – CP3 – Mini project (quiz grade)
You are going to make a basic travel itinerary for a trip to a Spanish-speaking country of your choice using the Internet). You can turn in the final mini-project (en español) on Tuesday, April 28th. You can also email it to me at in the event you are absent.
Steps to follow:
This should be handed in as a BROCHURE. You will not present it, but your written project/ brochure will be graded based on the rubric provided. It will also be displayed in class.
1. You will pick a Spanish-speaking country that you want to visit. You must explain why
you picked it.
2. You must find airfare to and from this country (Newark, JFK, or another nearby
airport/city with an international airport is your departure and return city). Websites for
this include orbitz, travelocity, expedia, priceline, kayak, etc. There are a MANY of them.
Pick a date range and try to find the best price.
3. Research the weather/seasons and make sure you pick dates that correspond to good
weather for traveling purposes.
4. Make sure to list the capital city of the country you've chosen and any other cities you would
like to visit (you will likely be flying into the capital city).
5. You need to pick 7-8 things/places you want to visit in the country you have chosen. Good
web resources to research these include lonelyplanet, wikitravel, fodors and letsgo, but
feel free to find your own. List each of them and explain why you want to see them.
6. Find a map of the country you are visiting and include it. Do your best to mark the locations
of each of your 7-8 places on the map.
7. Don’t forget food! Mention what you are looking forward to eating and why.
