Summary

The school has opted to take part in Saving the Day for 11-16-year-olds.Saving the Day comprises of a web-based game and downloadable resources (lesson plans, activities, and help sheets).

The school agrees to target a minimum of 60 students (30 for SEN schools) to take part in Saving the Day, either in lesson time, as homework, or as an extra-curricular activity.

Each invited school that has at least 50% of students who participate in Saving the Day successfully finish the game in the term in which the school starts the game, will be entered into a draw in that term to win £1000 of vouchers for school equipment(full terms and conditions apply – available upon request from the Transformation Trust).

Every student who participates in Saving the Day, completes the before and after surveys, and successfully finishes the game will be entered into a prize draw in the term that they completed the game to win one of 50 £25 Amazon vouchers (full terms and conditions apply – available upon request from the Transformation Trust).

The school must allocate at least one lead teacher who will administer parental permissions, and communicate aboutSaving the Dayvia the Transformation Trust.

All publicity and external communications regarding Saving the Day must be co-ordinated via The Transformation Trust.
