a)Prof. Yujiro Inouye asked Dr. Joos Vandewalle, VP on Technical Activities of CAS Society, to provide an update on the TC proposal made in 2007 about publishing a special issue on BSP in IEEE TCAS-I.Dr. Joos Vandewalleresponded that the whole matter was delayed due to the transition from old EIC to new EIC for IEEE TCAS-I. He said that new EICaccepted the proposal in principle, but under two new elements: (i) It will not be a Full issue but a Special Section only (a Full issue will be only possible if there are many submissions and good quality papers); (ii)At least some circuits and systems elements (including implementation) should be included in the CFP. Dr. Joos Vandewalle will contact the EIC of IEEE TCAS-I and notify him that the TC agreed with the two new elements. The guest editor team led by Dr. Shoji Makino will modify the CFP properly.

b)Dr. Joos Vandewalle briefed that the CAS Society required that each TC clean up TC membership. Members who have not made any contributions to TC (such as email responses, annual report, annual meeting, TC track at ISCAS, etc.) over three years should be considered as inactive members and should be asked to become active. Formal members of TC should be active members only, while inactive members should be put on the separate list.
