2012/13 Programme Specification
Title / The title in the 2012/13 programme specification will apply to all students who start in 2012/13
Accrediting Body / The accrediting body information is not kept annually. This means that if an accrediting body is added it will appear against all years of the programme. If it is removed it will be removed from all years of the programme.
Educational Aims/Outline Description etc / The Educational Aims and Outline Description etc listed in the 2012/13 programme specification will apply to all students who started in 2012/13
Admissions Requirements / The admissions requirements listed in the 2012/13 programme specification will be those which were required of students who started the programme in 2012/13
Course Structure (core and/or optional modules) / This section applies to all students on the programme in the 2012/13 year so:
Eg. Qualifying year / Will apply to students who started in the 2012 /13session.
Eg. Part I / Will apply to students who started in 2011/12 and are now 2nd year students in 2012/13.
Eg. Part II / Will apply to students who started in 2010/11 and are now 3rd year students in 2012/13.
Progression and Award Regulations / The progression regulations listed should be applied to all students who started in 2012/13[1].
Course Weighting and Method / The Course Weighting and Method information will apply to all students graduating in 2012/13.
Learning Outcomes / The Learning Outcomes listed in the 2012/13 programme specification will apply to all students who started in 2012/13

[1] It could be that a change to regulations would be applied immediately to all students on the programme. This could happen for one of two reasons – Firstly it is a PSRB requirement and it must be implemented immediately to retain accreditation. Secondly, the change is in favour of the student and it is agreed that it should apply to all students. Should either of these two situations arise you should contact and enquire about altering the historic programme specifications for the relevant years.
