Dear Parents
As you all are aware that parents and teachers both have to contribute whole- heartedly in a child’s all round successful development; in the same light Delhi Public School, Sonepat is going to organize an ‘Orientation’ for classes IX and X on 29 April 2017 at 8: 30 am in the respective classrooms.
HIGHLIGHTS
- The programme will focus on making parents more aware through a guided presentation regarding certain aspects that the school holds extremely dearand expects parents to contribute their bit by encouraging their wards to understand and join them. Beyond School, Foreign Exchange Programme and Social Outreach Programme are a few such initiatives.
- Besides that, a general awareness about a major change introduced by CBSE, i.e. introduction of board exams again at the place of CCE pattern session 2017-2018 onwards will be discussed.
- Burning issue of Cyber Bullying – prevention and remedial measures will be discussed.
- Parents can utilize this golden opportunity to meet the Class Teacher and subject teachers of their ward and this kind of exchange will prove extremely fruitful to the new admissions.

We will be expecting you all by8: 15 amonSaturday, April 29, 2017.
- All the parents are requested to carry 6 copies of their latest passport size photographs, including that of the child. Please label them and submit them in a common envelope.
- Please bring in writing the salient points, if any, regarding your child, which you wish to bring to the notice of the teacher.
- Kindly put your cell phones on silent mode or switched off during the Orientation programme.
* NO HARD COPY of the Circulars will be given in the coming session 2017-2018. Parents are requested and expected to check the Almanac and the School’s website (dps.in) daily.
