CrossBridge Prayer List

Praises

Tonya Jones writes, “I felt like this should come first: Praise be to the Lord, Most High! We want to thank you all for faithfully praying for Mike and our family for over a year now. We are so blessed to be around such devout prayer warriors who have been fighting on our behalf on the front lines of the battlefield. We are so grateful for all of the prayers and all of the acts of kindness that God did through you all. You all were truly a light to us in a difficult time. You were long-suffering with our situation, you comforted us in our time of need, you showered us with love and support, and you gave us hope which helped us to keep walking forward in faith. No matter the outcome on Mike’s test results, this is the passage that I believe God wanted me to share with you all: “But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, says my soul, therefore I will hope in Him. The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul that seeks Him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord” (Lam. 3:21-26 RSV). With this said, Mike saw the doctor this morning and he is cancer-free. He will soon be scheduled to have surgery to have his port removed. We are overwhelmed with gratitude and don’t feel that we can thank Him enough for all that He has taught us and done for us during this part of our journey. Thanks again to all of you for the beautiful way that you serve Him! In His Arms, Tonya.”
