Information
- Horse riding is a risk sport, participation, therefore, holds potential danger.
- Horses are sometimes unpredictable and do not always respond as expected.
- We advise all persons participating in any equestrian activity to ensure that they have adequate personal accident insurance.
- We allocate horses to riders taking into account experience and suitability. However, all riders retain the right not to ride a horse allotted to them.
- All riders must wear a riding hat to current B.S.I. standard whenever participating in riding activities. We strongly recommend riders purchase their own hat that has been correctly fitted. Body protectors are compulsory for cross country riding and recommended for show jumping. Parents are responsible for providing and ensuring their child is wearing the protective equipment for their lessons.
- All riders are asked to wear suitable footwear and to wear gloves.
- Riders are asked not to wear jewellery of any description.
- Parents/Guardians are requested to inform the Equestrian Centre if any of the information given above is altered.
- All instructors are trained and competent to teach their detailed level.
- We retain the right to terminate a Riding Client contract.
- All cancellations within 48 hours for whatever reason are charged for.
- If the weather is bad we will do a stable management lesson instead at a cost of £10. Please tick this box if you DO NOT want to do this.
