AGENCY GOALS & OBJECTIVES:
SHE’S purpose is to provide health care to the Loyola Community and to continuously improve the community’s well being. Our mission is to provide exemplary health care and health education to all of our students. Our broad goals this past year were to improve health care delivery, thus embracing SHES ability to effectively improve quality of life for students, to care for those in distress, offering compassion and reassurance, and improve our ability to educate the community to live healthy lives.
DEPARTMENT GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:
· Give healthy behavior a more visible place in the campus power structure.
· Assist students in making the connection between health, education and quality of life more visible on campus.
· Work closely with the campus Fitness and Aquatic Center, Counseling Center and Alcohol and Drug Education and Support Services as part of the College’s Strategic Plan.
· Address levels of primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention.
· Increase involvement with area colleges and universities.
·
· Encourage students to become more responsible for their own health.

HOW WILL YOUR ORGANIZATION USE AND IMPROVE A HEALTH EDUCATION STUDENT’S SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE? :
· Opportunity to create and develop programs

· Opportunity to coordinate a health fair
· Create surveys
· Work with peer educators
· Opportunity to work in outreach with the Baltimore Community
· Student will have opportunity to work with other students in a leadership position.
· Student will be encouraged to develop creative ideas and to work independently
· Student will work in a friendly, supportive environment and have access to the tools she/he requires to do the job.
· In addition, the student will have fun.

PARKING: Student will park at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen on Charles St. and shuttle to campus. No fees
