Morning Arrivals

StudentsMAY NOTexit their parent's vehicle or arrive on campus before 8:00 am,unless they’re participating in a club activity. Students are arriving on campus as early as 7:30 am on a daily basis. They gather on the front porch and create a disruption and significant safety issue with inappropriate behavior. When the bell rings, the students run into the building, creating further disruption. This week, a student was pushed to the ground and stepped on by other students. No students stopped to help him. Fortunately, a staff member was close by and was able to help. We do not have staff available to supervise students before 8:00 am and must ensure the safety of all students. Effective immediately, any student arriving at the front door before 8:00 am will be escorted to the office and parents will be called.
