Subject: 19th Annual Lancaster County Friends of the NRA Fundraising Banquet Event

The 19th annual Lancaster County Friends of the NRA Fundraising Banquet Event has quickly come upon us. As every year has shown this event continues to offer good food, camaraderie, and great fun, while accomplishing the goal of raising much needed funds for the promotion of sporting and firearm education, hunter safety, range development and improvement, women's firearm safety and educational courses as well as wildlife conservation efforts. Funds raised by this event, are distributed by the Friends of the NRA Foundation, to fund local, state, and national Grant Committee's. Last year consisted of over 841 attendee's and the event raised $73,347.39 to support these efforts. Since the inception of the Lancaster County Friends of the NRA, 7,086 patrons have attended our event and we have raised over $532,274.46. Pennsylvania receives 50% of all funds raised for their Grant Committee, and these funds have provided opportunities for Pennsylvania's youth and "new" to the sport alike. Your contributions from this event have helped ensure that future generations of shooters and hunters will continue to have the opportunity to enjoy the sport of shooting, hunting or simply taking a course to feel comfortable with the handling of a firearm.

Last year attendee's enjoyed the sold out event, so get your tickets early, and plan to enjoy the unlimited buffet, available from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, doors will open at 4:00 pm. The buffet provides a variety of salads, entree's, accompaniments, and an assortment of deserts from the Chef's Pastry Shop. The buffet provides the ability to eat, play, then eat some more. Enjoy the food, the games, and beverages at your convenience during buffet hours. Tickets for the dinner are $45.00 per person, and may be ordered via mail with the enclosed application, purchased through a committee member, online, or through a sponsoring club or sporting goods store.

As every year this event starts the planning process from the close of the doors the night of the banquet; requests have been made for sponsorships, tables and tickets. So plan well in advance, Individual tickets make great stocking stuffers for the holiday; clubs and businesses enjoy the benefits of being a sponsor, tax deductions, inexpensive advertising opportunities. Contact a committee member for complete details.
