Requirement shall consist of:

Standard Day Tank with Open 150% Top Containment Basin

2 GPM supply pump and 4 GPM reverse pump, includes AC solenoid valve and fuel strainer

A steel rectangular tank with an open top fuel containment basin. An Electronic Control Module (ECM) featuring a microprocessor-based fuel level control and monitoring system. The ECM shall supervise all performance parameters of the day tank.

Construction:

Tank shall be pressurized at 3 psi and leak checked to ensure integrity of weld seams per UL 142 standards prior to shipment. Tank shall be constructed of heavy gauge steel. The open top 150% containment basin shall be leak checked through the application of zyglow to the interior of the containment tank.

In addition, tanks shall be pressure washed with an iron phosphate solution and then finished with an acrylic primer and gray enamel paint (additional colors available). Tank interior shall be coated with a solvent-based rust preventative.

Tank features:

Emergency pressure relief vent cap shall ensure adequate venting and pressure relief inner tank under extreme temperature and emergency conditions.

Atmospheric vent cap shall accommodate normal venting – (oversized 2” vent)

Leak detection switch – Top mounted, shall annunciate a contained fuel leak at ECM control panel
