The Friday dinner will be at WinnipegArtGallery () and it includes

a reception with a 20 minute special tour of the Gallery.

Please note that a group of 10 good tickets (4th row first balcony) has been reserved but reserve early if you wish to attend!

One of the nicest hotel in the area. A block of 26 rooms has been reservedfor Thursday the 3rd and Friday the 4th, until April 3rd. Availability and fees are subject to change after that date.

Each additional person sharing a guestroom is $20.00 per night.

The hotel is a 3km walk to the University of Manitoba Bannatyne campus McDermott entrance. (There is construction on William Ave. Please note that walking the day is secure but less at night).There will be transportation organized for the Garrod attendees to and from the Inn at the Forks on Friday and Saturday.The Concert Hall is located opposite the Civic Centre (see map below). Many excellent restaurants are located at the Forks, the Exchange District, St. Boniface (across the Provencher Bridge) and Downtown, all within walking distance of the hotel.

Space is available (4’x8’) for poster displays on the mezzanine level of the BSMB, U of MB. Please note that the space is provided for educational purposes. Solicitation and financial transactions are prohibited. Registration is required prior to the Symposium(ON-SITEREGISTRATION IS NOT PROVIDED),so that we can allocate appropriate space.
