West Australian Blind Cricket Club (The Venetians)
Join the Venetians as we celebrate the 40th year of blind cricket in WA. We play social and family teams and, for more competitive players, there are opportunities to take part in national training camps and championships. Blind cricket is not much different to regular cricket. Some differences are that the ball makes a noise and is bowled underarm along the ground. The Venetians include men and women, junior and senior players. All welcome to have a go.
Venue: Shearn Memorial Park, Corner of Carrington St and Central Ave, Maylands, plus annual away trips to country WA.
Day / time: Sundays from 1pm. Season runs from mid-October to end of March.

West Australian Tandem Cycling Advisory Council
Don’t just lay around in bed on Sunday morning; get yourself out in the fresh air and come for a ride with us. Having front rider volunteers, we are able to organise rides on Sundays for people who are blind or vision impaired.
For those who like a leisurely morning muscle stretch we have a Monthly recreation ride of around 20 to 25km, (at about 15 to 20kms per hour), stopping for a coffee half way through the ride to boost your energy level for the return ride.
For those who want a bit more of a workout, we have a fortnightly club ride. This 50 to 60km ride is a bit quicker in pace at 25 to 30kms per hour. And, of course, the obligatory cyclists coffee at the end of the ride.
Venue: We have recreation rides that leave from Bassendean or Guildford.
And club rides leave from Guildford or Victoria Park.
Day / time: Sunday 8am
Cost: No cost for a ride but for insurance purposes tandem riders must be members.
Membership is $30 per year.
