Saturday:

How far can love go?

"At the name of Jesus every knee shall bend,

of those on heaven, on earth and under the earth". (Phil. 2:10).

"Ecce Fiat"

a Love

without limits

Ecce Ancilla Domini:

"for me, everything is there"

(Mary of the Passion: 25 October 1882)

"Father, here I am…I come to do your will"

(cf. Hebrews 10: 5)

Christ's "yes" to his Father is also Christ's "yes" to humanity.

Christ, sent by the Father, has bent down

towards his creation, towards his creatures.

His limitless love has become:

Incarnation. Passion. Resurrection. Eucharist.

Mary, surrounded by this love, inserted within this mystery, also becomes a living "yes" to her God:

Annunciation. Fidelity even to the foot of the cross. Solitude. Hope without limits. Universal motherhood.

Consecrated and sent on a mission of love, with Mary we enter into the same mystery of Christ:

Offering without reserve.

Contemplation. Universal mission.

By going through Christ's Paschal journey today, by living and celebrating the Chapter's theme symbolically, we interiorise Christ's Kenosis, in Mary's way, with Francis. We do not know how far Love will lead us. Mary of the Passion, while asking God: "Where are you leading me?" allowed herself to be led and her life today proclaims that "Jesus isLord, to the glory of God the Father".

Thursday

Love to the very end

"Do nothing out of selfishness or vainglory;

rather, humbly regard others

as more important than yourselves,

each looking out not for one's own interests,

but rather those of others.

Have among yourselves the same attitude

that is also yours in Christ Jesus:

who, though he was in the form of God…

emptied himself, taking the form of a slave"(Phil. 2: 3-7).

called to live the kenosis of Christ":
