Day One KEYNOTE SPEAKER:
Nerida Wilson - Cairns Barrister
(Life Chances) / Nerida, a Cairns barrister recently called to the bar. The immediate past chair of the Cairns Regional Domestic Violence Service and a former Federal Police Office in Family Conflict.
Day Two KEYNOTE SPEAKER:
Julie Mills - Prof of Civil Engineering
(non Traditional Careers) / Julie is currently the Associate Professor and Program director in Civil Engineering in the school of Natural and Built Environments, University of Australia.
Day Three KEYNOTE SPEAKER:
Gina Archer – Chair of QIECC
(Cultural Differences) / Gina Archer is the chair of Qld Indigenous Education Consultative Committee. She has worked in Queensland schools in many capacities and was an Australian Hockey player. She is a Torres Strait Islander who brings extensive experience in Indigenous education and advice to education systems and government. Ms Archer has worked in schools, including leadership positions for over thirty years as well as some experience in systemic support roles to teachers and schools. Ms Archer has a strong background in planning and delivery of strategies and will be able to provide advice on how proposed strategies and solutions can be implemented. She is currently a secondary teacher at the Brisbane School of Distance Education.
