held in the Village Hall on Thursday 6th April 2017 at 7.30pm

- Code of Conduct and the Ethical Framework
There were no declarations under the code of conduct.
- Minutes
The council resolved that the minutes of the meeting held on Thursday 2nd March 2017 were agreed and signed by the Chairman.
- Public Participation
One memberof the public was present at the meeting and came to speak to the Parish Council about a future event called ‘The Great Get Together’ to be held on Saturday 19th June in Ampleforth Village Hall. The event is in honour of the one year anniversary of the late Jo Cox. Resolution - A donation of £200.00 was agreed to help with the costs associated with organising the event. Mrs Harrison to provide the Clerk with bank details for the payment.

(a) All applications received for an allocation of the Section 106 money from the David Wilson housing development were discussed in full. Resolution - After discussion it was agreed that the Parish Council support the proposals submitted by the following organisations and will now submit these proposals to Gary Housden @ Ryedale District Council for their approval and release of the funds:-

- Matters Arising
To discuss the arrangements for the Annual Parish Meeting in May – Due to the County Divisions Elections being held on the same date as the May Parish Council meeting it was agreed for the Clerk to approach St Benedict’s Church to see if the Parish Council meeting can be held there. UPDATE: The May Parish Council meeting will now take place in St Benedict’s Church hall.

Clerk to speak to Ryedale District Council to investigate the possibility of installing a dog waste bin on Sawmill Lane.

- Date of Next Meeting
The date of the next meeting was fixed as Thursday 4th May 2017.This will begin with the Annual Parish Meeting at 7.00pm and followed at 7.30pm with the Annual Meeting of the Council and the ordinary monthly Parish Council meeting. This meeting will be held in St Benedict’s Church Hall, Ampleforth.
There being no further business the meeting closed at 8.10pm.
