Junior Sales Representative

Purpose of the job
Position’s key accountabilities:
  • To promote and sell Novo Nordisk products to healthcare professionals in hospitals, clinics and pharmacies.

Main accountabilities
  • To promote and sell Novo Nordisk range of products and to achieve annual sales target allocated.
  • To conduct territory business plan at least at the frequency and format requested by company.
  • To maintain up-to-date information on customers in customer master file and call history in ETMS system.
  • To achieve sales effectiveness KPIs targets set by company.
  • To take part in exhibition, symposium and congress as needed for promotion of the company products.
  • To meet deadlines for submitting sales reports, sales forecast, itinerary and other documents as requested
  • To have good product knowledge on all responsible Novo Nordisk products.
  • To plan and execute number of medical activities as requested by company.
  • To report adverse events and customer complaints according to procedure.
  • To negotiate and convince administrator and payers on sufficient funding given to Novo Nordisk products.
  • To adhere to internal and external requirements on business ethics and SOPs.

Other individual assignments:
Any other tasks and responsibilities as/when necessary.
Degree of independent decisions:
Decision need to be rectified by Area Sales Manager, National Sales Manager or Head of Sales.
Level of innovation and initiative:
  • Low level of innovation is required in analysing organisation of sales.
  • Provide input to the Management on competitor’s activities.
Degree of influence on departmental / function / NN results:
  • Make significant contributions in order to achieve sales target.
Communication / Interaction with others internally or externally:
  • Communication and interaction with both internal & external stakeholders of NN
  • External parties: Healthcare Professionals
  • Conveying information to internal & external stakeholders
Describe the scope of the job in terms of working away from the home country :
  • 100% of major job scope is in Malaysia or 70% Malaysia and 30% Brunei
  • Home country= Malaysia/Brunei

Education requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Science or related disciplines
Work experience
Less than 12 months’ related pharmaceutical sales experience or can be a fresh graduate.
