Minutes from previous meetingbe accepted as a true and accurate record.
- Correction: In general business items it was proposed to only stock the St Thomas Moore uniform not change our uniform to St Thomas Moore.

- Funds to sponsor IsraelLeota U11 Rugby League state carnival was disbursed.
Principals report
Denita:
- Athletics carnival was successful with McAuley house wining.
- Students representing in sports during school holidays:
- Lexie Armstrong Interstate Equestrian placed 3rd;
- Israel LeotaMetwest regional rugby team won the Tournament in Rockhampton where Israel was awarded best back award, best and fairest
- Parent Teachers interviews and report portfolio’sran successfully last term.
- The administration will know by the end of the week whothe new principal will be. This information will be updated in the school newsletter and on social media.

- All stock has been moved out to prepare for the relocation which will happen over the next school holidays.

- Denita advised that they are still awaiting a mock up sample of the Interschool sports uniform to decide on the design.
General business
Cherie Dalley – Logan City Council:
- Roadworks - if possible avoid Chambers Flat Road (6 months).
- There will be $2000 allocated to landscape, street sweeping.
- The council will be fixing up road tunnel area on Vansitart Road.
- Upgrade to Sunrise Park (ping pong table) and MilwoodPark (flying fox).
- The Queensland Music Festival – Under This Sky on 1-2 August 2015
- Venue is Logan Brothers Rugby League Club, Wembley Rd
- Gates open at 3pm with Eats and Beats
- Take blanket, chair or cushion; Free event
- The issue of the Left turn only at St Bernardines car park will be addressed in Traffic meeting tomorrow - Cherie to update in next meeting
- Road changes - Eamon street had 3 speed platform; Green Road – Bayliss Road (need to be policed) – signage for roundabout; Bumstead Road is still 80 speed limit – needs to be like Park Ridge Road which is now down to 70.
Denita:
- Proposal for Tuckshop renovations and moving uniform shop to current sports storage will cost $13,000 (inclusive of power points etc). The space will only be used for storage – looking at fridges, deep freezers. To be completed in the September school holidays.
- Proposal for new interactive 65 inch TV for year 1 classroom will cost $5,500 (including installed with software, mounting on wall).
- The total of both proposals is $18,500.00.
- P&F voted on three options:
- Option 1: P&F pay $10,000 for renovations and full cost of TV = $15,500 (leaving $19,300 in the account)
- Option 2: P&F pay for the full amount of both proposals = $18,500 (leaving $16,392 in the account)
- Option 3: P&F pay $7,000 for renovations and $2,750 for TV= $9,750 (leaving $24,892 in the account)
- The vote for Option 1 was unanimous. Moved by Lisa; Second by Scott.
Lisa:
- Fathers DayStall – Tuesday 1 September 2015
- 900 gifts have already been (700 already wrapped) – on target for 1500 gifts
- Invoices of $3,118.00 outstanding
- Stall to be set up in Wendy’s room upstairs (similar to Mothers Day Stall)
- A good list of volunteers has been collated.
- Promote it similar to mothers day stall – notice in newsletter
- Backto school gifts – options for students include a teddy, football and soccer book, memo book or year book
- Travel money card working really well – easy to access receipt and invoices.
- Money outstanding from Mothers Day Stall ($38) – the stall raised $500 profit.
- Mother’s Day gifts for 2016 has already been purchased to the value of $500
- Lisa raised a request from some parents who want to be present at the P&F meeting via internet (Skype). It was proposed that we look at logistics etc but due to the lack of technology it may not be possible.
- New online app to order tuckshop:
- Free and easy to use.
- Working well with an increase of orders.
- Online orders to be submitted by 8.30am. For now over the counter orders are still in operation.
- A normal savings account can be used to pay online not only credit cards.
- Some parents were concerned that the Sports day had no atmosphere and may be needed as a whole school event. It was discussed that it was not practicable as the logistics of having the whole participate would mean that children most probably will be sitting down too long waiting for their turn.

- Stacey will talk to the DJ regarding music selection
- Fundraising on the night – Lisa to start looking at food for poppas, water, drinks,chips etc.
- Christmas Concert on Friday 27 November 2015 6.30pm
- Denita to give Stacey details of Hayden in relation to the Catholic Cross Country.
