A.1.CALL TO ORDER

Mayor S.Mandel called the meeting to order at 8:43 a.m.

Councillors R.Hayter and D. Thiele were absent.

A.2.ADOPTION OF AGENDA

MOVED K.Krushell – S. Mandel:

1.That the April 12, 2005, Special City Council meeting agenda be adopted.

2.That sections 54(1) and 124 of Bylaw 12300, Procedures and Committees Bylaw be suspended for the April 12, 2005, Special City Council meeting to allow for a facilitated discussion on municipal governance.

City of Edmonton Self-Promotion

Councillor J. Batty made a presentation. Copies of the Capital Health and City of Edmonton Self-Promotionprofiles were distributed to Members of Council and copies were filed with the Office of the City Clerk.

Councillor R.Hayter entered the meeting.

Affordable Housing

Councillor M.Phair made a presentation. Copies of the Affordable Housing profile were distributed to Members of Council and a copy was filed with the Office of the City Clerk.

Customer Satisfaction

Councillor K.Krushell made a presentation. Copies of the Customer Satisfaction profile were distributed to Members of Council and a copy was filed with the Office of the City Clerk.

Traffic Safety

Councillor L.Sloan made a presentation. Copies of the Seniors profiles were distributed to Members of Council and copies were filed with the Office of the City Clerk.
