BEFORE THE NIGHT

1.  Complete the Entry form and hand in with your registration fee of £5 per person at the Village Hall on Friday 24th May between 6:30-7:30pm, Saturday 25th May between 10:00am and midday or Saturday 1st June between 10:00am and midday. If you are unable to register on the above dates please contact 01244 571264 / 571155 and alternative arrangements will be made to accept your entry.

Note: If you miss this deadline you will not be able to register on the night

2.  Raise as much sponsorship as possible – we want all teams to raise loads of money. Remember, this event is all about raising money for improvements of the Village Hall (as well as having a lot of fun!).

ON THE NIGHT

1.  Be at The car park in Station Road, Rossett at 6.30pm for Registration and ensure you have the team name you put on your entry form, as much of your sponsorship promise (all of it would be better!!) and proof of 18+ (as you might be asked).

2.  Parking may be suspended in Station Road car park - please park elsewhere and walk to the start.

3.  The race will start at 7.15pm (whatever the weather).

4.  All teams will be expected to raise as much money as possible by sponsorship or collection during race. Please try to hand in all money raised at the end of the race.

5.  Licensed bar and hot food will be available from 7:00pm. Competitors eat free.

RACE RULES….

1.  All entrants must be 18+

2.  Prams must have a least one wheel and a place to sit in/on. The only form of propulsion is pushing.

3.  A minimum of two people form a team – one pushes/one sits, alternating at each stop (swap in between if you get tired).

4.  Up to four people can enter as a team and the £5 entry fee will be applicable to each person. (Due to safety reasons, teams of more than 4 will not be accepted)

5.  Pre-ordered drinks will be provided at each stop - half pint of beer, spritzer or soft drink to be drunk by each team member at each of the five stops. 30-second time penalties will be noted at each stop where the drink is not finished or is spilt.

6.  The correct route must be followed to avoid disqualification. If your pram collapses, carry it to the end.

7.  Judges for fancy dress will be in attendance at the start of the race, so be ready to look your best for the camera!

8.  Prizes will be awarded for fastest time for men, women, mixed, plus best fancy dress. A subsequent prize will be presented to the team that raises the most sponsorship in total.

9.  Follow marshal instructions – marshals are there for everyone’s safety and to ensure the rules are followed.

10.  The judge’s decision is final and anyone not entering into the spirit of the event will be disqualified. Remember this is a fun event!

11.  All teams must remove their prams after the race (and take responsibility for disposal if trashed!).
