Location: Brighton High School Pool, 565 S. 8th Ave, Brighton, CO 80601 (southwest corner of 8th and Southern, enter parking lot from Southern St.).
Facility: Indoor, 25-yard, 6-lane pool. Warm down available in diving well.
The competitions course has not been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C (4)
The water depth, 1 to 5 meters from the start end, starts at 41/2 feet to 6 feet deep. Water depth 1 to 5 meters from the turn end is a constant 31/2 feet deep.
Timing: Electronic timing with touch-pads, back-up buttons, and manual timers on each lane. Attending teams may be required to provide timers. Lane timer assignments will be sent out with the warm up schedule prior to the meet.
Eligibility: This is an Open meet. Open to all swimmers, age 12 and younger, holding a 2016 USA Swimming membership. No swimmer will be permitted to compete unless the swimmer is a member as provided in Article 302. Any swimmer that appears on the CSI exceptions report without registration must come to the meet prepared to show proof of current membership. NO deck registrations will be accepted.
Entry Limits: - Each swimmer may enter 5 individual events (Brighton Bullfrogs Swim Team Inc reserves the right to limit entries to stay in the four-hour rule).
- The meet will be limited to either 200 swimmers, or however many entries fill the four hour time line.
NO DECK ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED
Entry Fees: Pool Surcharge: $9.00 per swimmer participating in the meet.
Event Charge: $5.00 per swimmer per individual event ($.75 per individual swim goes to CSI).

Entry Procedure: To participate in this meet, teams shall provide the following to the Entry Coordinator (see contact information below and above) prior to the entry deadline:
- A check for the entry fees for the team including a hardcopy of the entries.
AND
- Entries prepared using Hy-Tek software, submitted via email to the entry coordinator. Participating teams are responsible for the accuracy of the entries.

Rules: - Current 2016 USA Swimming rules will govern at the meet.
- Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USA Swimming member-coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. When unaccompanied by a member-coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement.
- Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms, or locker rooms
- Except where venue facilities require otherwise, changing into or out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is not appropriate and is prohibited.
- At a sanctioned competitive event, USA Swimming athlete members must be under the supervision of a USA Swimming member coach during warm-up, competition, and warm-down. The Meet Director or Meet Referee may assist the swimmer in making arrangements for such supervision, but it is the swimmer’s responsibility to make such arrangements prior to the start of the meet
- No on deck photography from behind the starting platforms.
- All events will be timed finals.
- The age of the swimmer on the first day of the meet will determine the swimmer’s age group.
- There will be NO SMOKING in the pool area.
- Glass containers are not allowed in the pool area.
Concessions: The concession stand will be open during warm up and the meet and will be offering a variety of snacks and drinks.

Warm Up: The warm up schedule will be e-mailed to participating coaches prior to the meet, and posted at the pool.
Scoring: 16-13-12-11-10-9-7-5-4-3-2-1
AWARDS: High Point Trophies for 1st through 6th for ages 6 and under, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12.
In case of ties for high point trophies, the following tiebreakers shall apply:
- Swimmer that swam the most yards. If it is the same then:
- Swimmer with the smallest cumulative time for all events.
Presentation of High-Point Trophies: !!!Attention Parents and Coaches!!!
High-Point Trophies will be presented to the top six swimmers of each age group at the conclusion of the meet. There will be a fun egg hunt organized for all swimmers to fill the time while scores are being tabulated, everyone entered in the meet is invited to participate! After the egg hunt swimmer’s names will be announced; they will be presented their trophies and then asked to take their position on the award stand for recognition and pictures. So be sure to stick around!!
