We have included information about budget-friendly housing options for conference participants on the back of this page. January is not far away! Please take the time now to look over this information and any travel arrangements (flights, car rentals) that might be necessary for your attendance. We encourage you to plan ahead so that you can find the best travel deals. Interested student members can also volunteer at the registration desk. After completing your shift, part of your conference registration fee will be refunded. Please see the volunteer form enclosed.

Housing Options

(1) Roommate match, Conference Hotel

We will help connect persons looking for a roommate to share the costs of the conference stay in the Hilton Atlanta. The room rate is $115 for single, double, triple, or quad. As we have done in the past, we simply put you in contact with another student participant in need of a roommate; we are not responsible for making your room reservations. If you are looking for a roommate, please email AnneMarie Mingo at and give your name, contact # and email, and any applicable roommate preferences (gender, smoking/non, arrival/departure days, # roommates you’re willing to share with, etc.).

(2) Housing with a Local Student

At this time, there are just a few opportunities to stay with a local student. Please indicate if you are interested as soon as possible by contacting AnneMarie at . Please include the same information from #1 above as well as whether you will need transportation to and from the conference site.

(3) Other Hotels

MARTA, the Atlanta public transit system, gives access to the Hilton Atlanta (Peachtree Center Station) and the airport (Airport Station) from which several budget-friendly housing options are available.
