Character Education
· Teachers received information on cooperation via email
· As discussed in our beginning of year meeting, we will create a graph in the hallway using dots when students demonstrate any of our character education initiatives

· Before deleting any prior students from the class, it is important to create PDFs of their data

§ To hand record anecdotal notes to be entered into TSG later:
· Print hard copy of objectives and examples for Lead Teacher and Associate Teacher and put in binder

o Scroll to bottom of page
o Click on Progressions of Development and Learning
· Lead teacher and associate teacher put student’s initials on post it notes with anecdotal notes and stick them on the objective
o Check List for whole group anecdotal notes

o Intentional teaching cards have objectives listed but when you assess you may find you meet other objectives as well
o We assess three times a year – there are 51 observations for each child
o First data set is due October 30.
o We will be looking at that data at our November 11 staff meeting
o We will also be looking at letter/sound recognition at the November 11 staff meeting as well.
