Course Description

This course guides and directs all participants as each pursues his or her unique path within the right of way profession. During this course, participants learn how and why qualities such as professional competence, character, integrity, fairness, commitment and trustworthiness provide the foundation for establishing and maintaining strong working relationships as a right of way professional.
Credentialing

·  Generalist/Specialist:Ethics courses are applicable to all IRWA Credentialing programs. Successful completion of Course 104 (or Course 103 “Ethics and the Right of Way Profession”) is a requirement for initial completion of all IRWA Credentialing programs. Successful completion of either the ethics or standards courses is also mandatory every five years for recertification purposes.

Lawrence D. Dupree, SR/WA, R/W-NAC is an independent fee appraiser based in central Arkansas with offices in Jacksonville and Cabot, Arkansas. Mr. Dupree holds a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser designation in Arkansas. He received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He holds the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) SR/WA designation, the (IRWA) Negotiation Acquisition Certification R/W-NAC and is the Arkansas IRWA Liaison for The Arkansas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board. Mr. Dupree was one of the drafters of the original Appraiser Legislation for the State of Arkansas and has been an Officer of The Arkansas Appraisal Foundation. He specializes in multi-family residential, commercial and industrial property appraisals; Eminent Domain actions, litigation, negotiations, acquisition and relocation assistance. He has been an IRWA Instructor Trainer for IRWA and has served as PDC for Region II. He currently is an Instructor for IRWA Law, Appraisal (Valuation), Engineering, Negotiation/Acquisition, Ethics, Professional Development Courses.
