This is a great resource to supplement units with background knowledge on subjects or to assist teaching specific content. Many students need a visual connection to the written or spoken word.

I have used this site for worksheet templates on summarizing-it even came with a Spanish template for my ELL student.
Teachertube. (2010). Retrieved from . This site gives a variety of visual teaching aids that either the teachers or students put together. This is similar to youtube, only it is usually school appropriate. My past and current students still sing a rap song over the Elements of a Short Story.

It creates professional developments, classroom activities, gives resources, magazine articles and excerpts, and teaching kits. This allows for different strategies in teaching how to be tolerant and what to do and how to overcome intolerance.
