Authorisation for purposes of Customs Act
In accordance with Section 181 of the Customs Act, I/we hereby authorise Vantage Customs Services Pty Ltd, holder of Corporate Customs Broker Licence No 00726., its nominees and/or subagents as may be appointed from time to time to act as my/our Customs Broker for the purpose of the Customs Act 1901 as amended, at all places in the Commonwealth.
Authorisation for GST purposes
I/We further authorise Vantage Customs Services Pty Ltd to quote my/our Australian Business Number
(ABN):______in regards to the Goods and Service Tax, Wine Equalisation Tax, the Luxury Car Tax and other matters as necessary to comply with legislation administered by and the policy requirements of the Australian Taxation Office, Australian Customs Service, Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service and other government agencies in relation to the importation and exportation of goods.
Acceptance of customs duty and taxes
In consideration of Vantage Customs Services Pty Ltd acting as my/our customs broker, I/we hereby indemnify and agree to indemnify them against any claim or demands made against them, arising from any customs or GST declarations that they make on my/our behalf.
Acceptance of trading terms
I/We agree that all transactions undertaken by Vantage Customs ServicesPty Ltd, its nominees and/or its sub-agents on my/our behalf are done so subject to their current standard trading terms and conditions.
Term of authorisation
This authorisation is effecting as of the ____/____/____ and shall be effective until cancelled in writing. Please note this letter of authority supersedes any previous written authority.
