Cannock College – We have the following courses on offer:

Food and Nutrition – 6 weeks Starts 22/02/2016 12.00pm – 14.00pm

IT Course – St Johns House, Weston Road, Stafford

Richmond Fellowship Office

Starts 25/02/2016 – 6 Weeks 10.30am – 12.30pm

Course covers using social media as a wellbeing tool,

Internet safety and basic skills.

( Course requires a minimum number of 14 )

Pottery – 12 weeks – Dates to be confirmed

Creative Skills – St Johns House, Suite 2, Weston Road, Stafford, ST16 3RZ

Starts – 8/3/2016 for 6 weeks 1.00 – 4.00pm

Creative Project – St Johns House, Suite 2, Weston Road, Stafford, ST16 3RZ

Starts – 3/5/2016 for 6 weeks 1.00pm – 4.00pm

Both of these course’s combine a use of creative skills to help build self confidence, using discussions, creating stories and characters, use of drama and creative skills, team building and goal setting. The end project will form the creation of a DVD ( Subject to be discussed and agreed within the group ). A real chance to develop some new skills, meet people and to just try something new.

WEA at Lea Hall in Rugeley – Offers Life Skills writing workshops each Monday from 10.30am – 12.30pm

We also have current opportunities at both Upper Moreton Farm and The Kingswood Trust – Please call for details and to book a place.

Both offer an extensive range of outdoor activities including: animal care, growing fruit and vegetables to use in a range of cookery courses, animal conservation, orchard management, building and woodwork skills, animal assisted therapy, walks for wellbeing, photography, seasonal crafts and events. Transport can be arranged to Upper Moreton Farm for a small cost and you would need to bring a packed lunch. Kingswood Trust offer free transport from a central pickup and lunch is included.

We also have a Music Group in Stafford – Friday 10.30am – 12.00pm

Knit and Natter – Stafford every Wednesday 1.00pm – 3.00pm

Creative Colouring – Stafford every Monday 11.00am – 1.00pm

We also offer a wide range of different Peer Support groups that run in various locations across South Staffordshire – Please contact the office on 01782 227020 for further details and times. Please call to register on any of the courses or speak with a Link Worker.

Watch this space!! We are currently developing new courses and activities to include: walking groups, leisure activities and art.

We are always looking for new ideas to extend our current program of activities. If you don’t find something of interest then please advise a staff member, we will, where possible look to accommodate other interests that support wellbeing and recovery.
